There aren't much to update but here are a few. A few weeks ago I posted about the couple at our Church that were adopting a little boy from the Ukraine. They were able to bring home Roma last Thursday! They were at church yesterday. He is very happy to be here with his new family! He is so cute!
This Thursday Chris is supposed to report to Wright-Patterson Air Force base. He will be there for 4 years. He's looking for an off base housing now.
Then yesterday Pete and his brother Paul went and got saved at church. I can't really explain this too well cause I wasn't brought up in the religion that he was but it is a really big deal I guess.
That is about it for my update!
Take care!

Aaron's 499

Here is my race recap for the Dega race!
Joe Nemechek got the pole on Saturday. So he and Tony Stewart lead the field down to the green flag. One Lap 1 Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch draft together and Tony leads the first lap.
On Lap 5 Reed Sorenson pulled his car in the garage due to a blown engine. That did not bring out a caution due to the fact that Reed was able to get his car on pit road without dropping anything on the track.
Lap 19 is when we had our first caution of the day. Matt Kenseth blew a tire and hit the wall. On lap 20 pit road opened and all the leaders pit. That handed the lead to Ken Schrader on lap 21. After leading a lap Ken pits and Tony retakes the lead.
On lap 34 Tony's teammate Denny Hamlin takes the lead from him. That lasted until lap 39. On lap 39 the grandstands came alive as Dale Jr. took the lead. That lasted until lap 46 when Jeff Burton took the lead. Then on lap 47 Brian Vickers took the lead. Ya there is a lot of lead changes in this race! It's a restrictor plate race so you'll have that. On lap 51 Paul Menard took the lead. On lap 53 Juan Montoya took the lead. Just on lap later Denny Hamlin retakes the lead. On lap 56 Ryan Newman takes the lead from Denny. On lap 57 Kevin Harvick took the lead only to have Denny take the lead back a lap later. On lap 61 Dale Jr. Took the lead right back.
Lap 61 green flag pit stops start happening. Dale Jr. pits on lap 64 so the lead was taken by Tony Stewart who pitted a lap before Dale Jr. On lap 82 Jimmie Johnson takes the lead. Only to have Tony Stewart take it away a lap later.
On lap 88 the #88 driven by Dale Jr. took the lead. Kinda cool huh! But then on lap 89 Tony reclaimed the lead. Only to have Dale Jr. take it back on lap 90!
On lap 103 the second round of green flag pit stops start happening. On lap 106 Tony beats everyone off pit road and is scored as the leader. On lap 110 Dale Jr. took the lead back. Only to have Denny Hamlin take it away.
Then on lap 116 Carl Edwards blew a right side tire and hit the wall. That brought out only our second caution of the day. Everyone hit pit road on lap 117 except for Regan Smith. He lead lap 118. Regan then pitted and Dale Jr. took the lead back.
On lap 126 Jeff Gordon was able to pass his teammate and lead a lap. On lap 127 Denny Hamlin took the lead back. Only to loose it to Dale Jr. on lap 128. On lap 133 Elliott Sadler took the lead. Then Dale Jr. took it back on lap 134 only to loose it on lap 135 to Elliott Sadler. That only lasted one lap then Dale Jr took the lead back. Then on lap 137 Tony Stewart reclaimed the lead. Then on lap 138 David Stremme took the lead. He then lost it to Elliott Sadler on lap 139. That is when Elliott lost the lead to his teammate Kasey Kahne on lap 140. At lap 141 Dale Jr took the lead again just to swap it with Tony Stewart on lap 142. Then Dale Jr. was able to pass Tony yet again on lap 143.
Lap 143 is when the 3rd caution of the day comes out. Tony Stewart had a tire blow and scraped the wall. Patrick Carpentier also gets into the wall. On lap 144 the pits are open and all the leaders pit. A.J. Allmendinger stays out to lead lap 145. Once A.J. pits on lap 146 Denny Hamlin takes the lead back. On lap 149 Dale Jr. takes the lead back from Denny. Then on lap 150 Denny takes the lead back. Lap 151 Brian Vickers takes the lead from Denny. On lap 152 Paul Menard leads again. That lasted till lap 154 when David Stremme took the lead only to have Denny take it away on lap 155.
On lap 160 the 4th caution comes out. Paul Menard goes for a spin and slides through the infield grass after some help from Juan Montoya. Paul kept his car off the track and didn't hit anything so the race resumed on lap 163 with Denny still leading.
Then on lap 164 Brian Vickers brought out the caution when he lost his rear quarter pannel. On lap 168 Denny once again lead the field to the green flag. Then on lap 173 Kyle Busch took the lead. On lap 173 the big one happend. Bobby Labonte gets turned sideways and heads up the track. He collects Tony Stewart, Martin Truex Jr., Kurt Busch and Jamie McMurray. Truex and Stewart have the most damage. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has some rear damage as well as he was the original car that got loose but was able to collect it. Tony and Martin both take their cars to the garage.
On lap 179 Michael Waltrip took the lead. Then on lap 180 the caution came out due to debris from Bobby LaBonte's car. On lap 184 Jimmie Johnson took the lead from Michael. On lap 185 Kyle took the lead. Then on lap 188 the caution comes out as Jamie McMurray spun and collected a few cars as well. That happened on the white flag lap so the race ended under caution!
Congrats to Kyle and his team!

RIP Uncle John
So today was the funeral for Uncle John. It went well! He was a great guy that had no enemies. He would do anything for you. That was just the type of guy he was. He was a simple man that was happy as long as his kids were around. They were the love of his life. As his daughter said "he never met anything that could bring him down or beat him....we now know that there was one thing that was finally able to beat him!" He died of brain cancer. Now he's finally able to be reunited with my Aunt (his wife)that passed away in 2000.
The one thing that I wasn't prepared for was the fact that my other Uncle showed up. I haven't spoken to or seen him in almost 7 years. You could tell that he was a little uncomfortable. He talked to me and said that he wants to keep in touch. I'm not sure how that will play out! For those that know me you know what I'm talking about. For those that are lost.....He is my ex mother's brother. I don't talk to my ex mother. She left my father 8 years ago and things got nasty to say the least. She decided that cause I stood by my father that she didn't care about me. I haven't talked to her in about 7 years.
Well thanks for letting me vent a little!
Take care!!

I love you Uncle John!!!!
This is a very sad post for me. Today just before I left work I had a call, it was about my Uncle. This afternoon my Uncle John passed away. He was just in the hospital about a month ago and I went to see him quite a few times. We had a great few visits. I asked him everytime what was wrong and all he said was that he was having headaches and was seeing double. All he told me was that they didn't know what was wrong with him. I found out thought that he knew what was wrong. He's known for a while I guess. He passed away after battling brain cancer. He was the last famliy memeber that actually cared about me from my mom's side of the family. The last thing that we said to each other was "I love you". I have learned never to take that for granted! Always let others know that that they are loved! I love you Uncle John may you be at peace with Auntie Heidi now!!

A few happy things.....
I wanted to post a few things that are happy! First off some of you know that Pete's cousin has been in the Air Force and been away for over two years! He was in Guam then Iraq and then back to Guam! Well on Tuesday he will finally be back in the states! His parents are picking him up in Dayton! He will be here for 30 days then he will report to Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 4 years! That is only less then a two hour drive! He will be in the same state! That is so great!!!
Some of you may have noticed that I added a new friend link Megan, Dave and soon to be little one! I can't say too much but Megan and Dave are trying to adopt a little boy and they were told this week that they are able to adopt him! That is a great thing! He's such a sweet little boy! I'll let you know more once I can!
Just thought that I would share this with everyone! Hope that everyone had a great weekend!
Take Care!
I just joined Pay Per Post!
I've heard about this site from a few online friends. I decided to check out the site! What could it hurt right. After going to the site and reading more about it I decided to join! It was easy to join! It is an easy way to make a little extra money doing something that I like to do already. I get paid to post about things that I enjoy! I'm going to take the extra money that I earn and buy me something special when I go to my race in August! Hopefully I can get enough money to buy me something great! Maybe I can even pay for some of my trip as well! Now that would be awesome! They have so many opportunities to talk about things that I would normally talk about anyway! You name it they have it there to talk about! There is something there for everyone! I can't wait to start earning extra money. You need to check it out! If I can do then I know that others can as well! It only takes a few minutes of your time so even if your busy like me you can still work this in!

Happy Easter!
Just wanted to drop by and say Happy Easter! Hope that everyone has a great Easter weekend! Not sure what I'm doing yet. My family will be at my Grandma's but that means that my dad will be there as well. That also means that hubby can't go with me. If I don't go I have a feeling that I will break the hearts of my cousins kids but I also would have to spend yet another holiday without hubby. The only other thing to do is spend the day with hubby and his family. Don't know what I will do! My grandma hasn't even called me so maybe she doesn't want me there either. Who knows! I do know that I'm going to Church with hubby in the morning. I will be singing so I have to be there. The main song that we are singing is "Save the Day". We practiced last night! I think that we sounded good. We are also singing the traditional hymes too!
Take care and have a great Easter!

Thanks Dale!
This was Dale Jarrett's last points race. He is hanging up his helmet! He will be racing in the All Star Race but this was the final points race that he will be in. I think that he is one of the better old scholl drivers. He has had many wins as well as a Championship! He is one of those drivers that the younger guys look up to as well. To Dale Jarrett thanks for all the memories! Hope that you fully enjoy the retirement! You deserve the best!
Food City 500
The starting lineup was determined by points due to rain on Friday! That means that Jimie Johnson lead the field to the green flag. On lap 12 Clint Bowyer was able to pass Jimmie Johnson for the lead. Clint was also the winner of the Nationwide race on Saturday.
The first yellow flag came out for a Competition caution due to the lack of practice. All the leaders came in for a pit stop.
The second yellow flag came out on lap 59 when Robby Gordon spun. He didn't hit anything and was able to continue.
The second yellow flag fell on lap 93 for debris. All the lead cars pitted. On lap 96 Tony Stewart took the lead due to his pit box selection. On lap 97 then Michael Waltrip takes the lead as he stays out to get the five bonus points. On lap 102 Tony Stewart the takes the lead again.
On lap 119 the caution came out again due to Dave Blaney spinning. Most of the leaders stayed out this time.
On lap 189 the caution flies for the 5th time. This time it was due to a multi car accident. The accident included Ryan Newman, Paul Menard, Jamie McMurray, Bobby LaBonte, Ken Schrader and Dario Franchitti. All the leaders hit pit road. On lap 193 Denny Hamlin took the lead due to where his pit stall was. On lap 194 Tony Stewart wins the race off pit road and regained the lead. That lasted till lap 198 when Denny passed his teammate for the lead.
The sixth caution came out on lap 278 when Paul Menard got into Dario Franchitti. Which also caused Casey Mears to get into Denny Hamlin. All the leaders hit pit road again. With Denny Hamlin in the pits for repairs Kyle Busch was able to take the lead.
On lap 291 the caution comes out again due to the leader Kyle Busch spinning when his steering wheel sticks. Tony Stewart then takes the lead back.
On lap 411 Kevin Harvick takes the lead from Tony Stewart. Then on lap 414 Tony Stewart took the lead back. The caution comes out again on lap 489 when Brian Vickers gets into the wall.
On lap 496 Denny Hamlin is able to pass Tony Stewart for the lead again. On lap 498 the caution comes out for Kevin Harvick getting into Tony Stewart and sending Tony Stewart into the wall.
The race went into overtime, meaning we had some caution laps and then we had a green/white/checkerd finish. On the white flag lap, lap 505, Denny Hamlin has ran out of gas so that allowed Jeff Burton to take the lead and win the race. This was the first win for Chevy this year. It was also a 1-2-3 finish for Richard Childress Racing.

Blizzard of 08 #2
Here are some more pictures from our Blizzard of 08! When it finally stopped snowing around 5ish last night we ended up with 20.4" of snow in less the a 48 hour period. It was a record breaking snow for us here! The record was from 1920 I think. I'm done with snow. They closed everything around here yesterday. I think that most of the churches were closed today as well. Our pastor decided to close early yesterday afternoon. I think that was the best. I just want to say thank god that hubby was able to get the old snow blower working!!!

This is the snow drift against our fence!

Here I was trying to show dept of the snow!

Blizzard of '08
Let me start off by saying snow sucks! Pete had to go to work this morning and he says that the roads suck! The plows haven't even been down our road yet. I had to shovel some of the driveway so that Pete can get back in the driveway! Here are some pictures I took less then an hour ago. Enjoy! Let me know your thoughts! By the way we have been under a blizzard warning since about 3:15 yesterday until 4pm today! They even let us go home early yesterday from work! That never happens!

Last but not least this is the snow in my hair! This is the top of my head with chunks of snow!

Nascar handed out some fines and penalties
Yesterday race winner Carl Edwards was issued a fine and penalty. Here is what NASCAR had to say: The No. 99 car driven by Carl Edwards was found to
be in violation of Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing);
12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used do not conform to
NASCAR rules); and 20-2.1J (any device or duct work that permits air to pass
from one area of the interior of the car to another, or to the outside of the
car, will not be permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, the inside of
the car to the trunk area, or the floors, firewalls, crush panels and wheel
wells passing air into or out of the car) of the 2008 NASCAR rulebook. The
violations were found during post-race inspection at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on
March 2.
Inspectors found that the cover of the oil reservoir encasement mounted
behind the driver's seat was off, a circumstance that constitutes an
unauthorized aerodynamic modification. NASCAR rules require that the cover be
bolted securely to the encasement.
As a result, Edwards and car owner Jack
Roush have been penalized 100 championship driver and 100 championship owner
points, respectively. In the event the No. 99 team qualifies for the Chase, the
team will not receive the 10 bonus points for the UAW-Dodge 400 victory used for
determining the seeding order.
Also, crew chief Bob Osborne has been fined
$100,000, suspended from the next six Cup Series events, suspended from NASCAR
until April 30 and placed on probation until Dec. 31.
The 100-point penalty
drops Edwards from first to seventh in the Cup standings.
Here is what Roush-Fenway had to say about it.Roush Fenway Racing president Geoff Smith issued a statement Wednesdsay
evening addressing the penalty:
"The bolt holding the lid in place failed in
its purpose as a result of vibration harmonics generated by the car and the race
track during the race. The bolt was secure enough to survive 225 miles of
practice, perhaps up to 399 of 400 miles of the race and the scrutiny of
numerous inspections.
"It's a tough business for any race team to have to
pledge $100,000, 100 points and a six-race crew chief suspension as an indemnity
payment to NASCAR against a promise forced from us by NASCAR that no bolt will
ever fail its purpose under race conditions. We are currently evaluating whether
or not the circumstances justify submitting to the unpleasantness of the appeal
process, but from a competitive standpoint, we believe it is in our best
interest to have Bob Osborne begin serving the penalty now. Chris Andrews, our
chief engineer, will be at the track on Friday and Saturday to lead the No. 99
team and general manager Robbie Reiser will join Chris on the pit box Sunday
during the race.
"We are confident that we have the depth of talent in our
organization and the strength in Carl Edwards and the No. 99 team to overcome
this penalty, should that end up being the final outcome of this unhappy
episode."
Also yesterday NASCAR heard Robby Gordon's appeal to his fines and penalty from Daytona. Here is what his ruling was.The infractions concerned Section 12-4-A of the NASCAR Rule Book "Actions
detrimental to stock car racing"; Section 12-4-Q "Any determination by NASCAR
Officials that the car, car parts, components, and/or equipment used in the
Event do not conform to NASCAR rules" and Section 20-3.1-A: "Unapproved front
bumper cover."
Gordon
The penalties assessed were:
• Loss of 100 NASCAR
Sprint Cup Series Championship Car Owner Points for car owner Robby Gordon.
•
Loss of 100 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship Driver Points for driver Robby
Gordon.
• $100,000.00 fine; suspension from NASCAR for the next six (6)
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship Events; suspension from NASCAR until April
9, and probation until Dec. 31 for crew chief, Frank Kerr.
The Appellants
argued that the bumper cover was installed as delivered from the manufacturer,
that it did not provide a competition advantage since it was discovered prior to
being allowed on the racetrack, and that the bumper met the templates. The
Appellants also argued against the severity of the penalties.
In
deliberating, the Commission considered several factors. The bumper cover
constituted an obvious rules infraction and the Appellants did not contest the
legality of the part.
The Commission notes and reaffirms the following
fundamental principal which is vital to maintaining the integrity of the sport:
Regardless of the source of an unapproved part on a racecar, the race team that
officially enters the car in a NASCAR race is ultimately accountable for that
racecar's conformance, or non-conformance, to the rules.
NASCAR issued
penalties and fines to the No. 7 team as a result of rule infractions found
during Speedweeks at Daytona.
However, the Commission believes that the
facts presented during the hearing represented an extraordinary and unusual set
of circumstances. While this does not excuse the infraction, the National Stock
Car Racing Commission has decided to reinstate the car owner and driver
championship points, lift the suspension, and increase the fine.
The
restoration of the points moves Gordon to 21st from 37th in the standings,
lifting him well above the all-important top-35 mark needed to guarantee a spot
in the field each week.
For the crew chief, Frank Kerr, the penalty is
increased to $150,000 and he remains on probation through Dec. 31.
Here is what Robby Gordon Motorsports had to say regarding the ruling."We see this as good news," Gordon said in a statement Wednesday night. "We
are grateful the commissioners rescinded the points penalty and suspension but
disappointed by the fine. Still, we see this as a victory for Robby Gordon
Motorsports. We feel like justice was done and appreciate NASCAR creating a
system that allowed us to take our appeal to the National Stock Car Racing
Commission.
"Now we plan to put this issue behind us and concentrate on
making the Chase in 2008 as well as getting the Jim Beam Dodge into Victory
Lane. I want to thank the thousands of fans and our sponsors who have supported
us through this episode and want everyone of you to know how much we appreciate
all that you have done.
"Our goal is to be a model team in the future and
never go through something like this again," Gordon said.

Auto Club 500 race In California recap
Well after many delays we now know that Carl Edwards had the car to win the Auto Club 500!
After a long delay due to rain the race finally got underway! About two and a half hours after the race was supposed to start we finally got the race underway only to have the #55 car driven by Michael Waltrip drop oil all over the track. The green flag has yet to wave. They have to clean the track up as well as the track is weaping (water is coming out of the cracks in the track) so they are also drying those. A half hour later we finally go green flag racing!!!
Jeff Gordon took the lead right away by about two seconds. We got our first caution on lap 14 when Denny Hamlin in the #11 FedEx car hits the wall in turn three. He hit pretty hard. He had to go straight to the garage. On lap 17 Jimmie Johnson took the lead after pit stops. On lap 20 Jeff Gordon retakes the lead.
On lap 20 the caution comes out again for a wreck. Casey Mears hit the wall then slid down the track right into his teammate Dale Jr. Dale Jr. then slide into Reed Sorenson as well. Then out of the blue Casey was almost stopped against the wall and here comes Sam Hornish Jr. hitting him from behind and actually flipping Casey's car so that the driver's side was against the track. After both cars stop Sam's car catches fire. Luckily everyone made it out fine. Sam and Casey are both out of the race. The red flag comes out for the clean up. The cars were stopped for over an hour! Here are some quotes from the drivers involved:
- Casey Mears: "A couple times I hit the water and right about the time I crossed that seam, I don't know if that's what caused me to get loose."
- Dale Earnhardt Jr.: "We were just sitting there trying to chill. The track's real dirty and everybody's sliding around. The track ain't ready today. The track's dirty, and this was a bad move."
- Sam Hornish Jr.: "There was nowhere to go either way. I couldn't see anything and couldn't steer the car, either."
- Denny Hamlin: "I think there are 42 other drivers out there who would agree; we should not be racing on that racetrack right now. I hit a slick spot and the car just took off."
Finally on lap 25 we got the race underway with Jeff Gordon leading. On lap Jimmie Johnson took the lead so that he could help his teammate get some debris off his nose. Reed Sorenson also comes back out on the track! On lap 38 Jeff Gordon takes the lead back.
Then on lap 39 there is a caution thrown for rain in turn 4. Most the leaders are pitting now. That hands the lead to John Andretti. Then he pits and Dale Jarrett assumes the lead. On lap 46 Dale pits and Jimmie Johnson takes the lead.
The green flag was thrown again on lap 47 and Jeff Gordon takes the lead. On lap 56 Jeremy Mayfield cuts a tire and the caution comes out for debris. The race restarts after pit stops are made on lap 59 Jeff Burton leads them only to have Jeff Gordon pass him again. Dale Jr. has also rejoined the race 39 laps behind.
On lap 70 Elliott Sadler spins and brings out the caution for the sixth time. On lap 72 Jamie McMurray leads the field to the green after all the leaders make thier pit stops. On lap 73 Greg Biffle takes the lead from Jamie. On lap 81 the rain falls again! By lap 85 NASCAR red flags the race.
Nascar had hoped to run the race last night but at 2am ET Nascar officially postponed the race. It was 15 hours 49 minutes later and the race was yet again underway.
On lap 90 Jimmie Johnson leads the pack to the green flag! On lap 122 Kasey Kahne takes the lead as the leaders start to make the green flag pit stops. On lap 123 Kasey pits and Kurt Bush inherits the lead. Lap 124 Kurt runs out of gaas on the back stretch and Carl Edwards takes the lead. He then pits but maintains the lead. On lap 126 Jimmie Johnson regains the lead.
Caution comes back out on lap 134 when Jeff Burton smacks the wall to bring out that caution. On lap 137 Kyle Busch takes the lead under caution after many drivers make pit stops.
On lap 150 Michael Waltrip spins and hits the wall bringing out the caution yet again. The leaders hit pit road and Robby Gordon stays out to lead a lap. When Robby makes the pit stop Ryan Newman takes the lead. On lap 155 Matt Kenseth takes the lead. Then on lap 158 Jimmie Johnson is able to ease past Matt for the lead again. That only lasted two laps and Carl Edwards then takes the lead back.
On lap 167 Dale Jarrett looses the tire tread from his right rear tire to bring out the caution. Everyone makes thier pit stops and that puts Jimmie Johnson back in the lead. Thanks to a fast pit stop Jeff Gordon takes the lead on lap 170.
On lap 179 Carl Edwards passes Jeff for the lead back. On lap 210 Kevin Harvick takes the lead as drivers start to make green flag pit stops. Then on lap 211 the pit stops cycle through and Carl Edwards resumes as the leader.
On lap 219 Jeremy Mayfield slaps the wall bringing out caution flag numer 11. Everyone hits pit road and that puts Jeff Gordon in the lead thanks to the position of his pit. On lap 122 Jimmie Johnson takes the lead yet again.
On lap 237 Carl Edwards takes the lead for the final time.
Here are the top 10 in points:
- Kyle Busch
- Ryan Newman
- Tony Stewart
- Kurt Busch
- Carl Edwards
- Kasey Kahne
- Kevin Harvick
- Jimmie Johnson
- Greg Biffle
- Jeff Burton
Next week we are in Las Vegas!
Take care!

Daytona 500 Race Recap....
Well as you can see Ryan Newan driver of the #12 Alltel Dodge for Penske Racing won the 50th Daytona 500. It was a great race. No he didn't lead that many laps but he lead the lap that counted. Here is what happened throughout the race.
Lap one was lead by Michael Waltrip. He lead till lap 3 which Jimmie Johnson lead. Then on lap 4 Denny hamlin took the lead. He lead till lap 6 when Tony Stewart took over. I found this radio conversation funny. This happened on lap 10 after Kevin Harvick radioed into his crew that he thought they were blowing up......
Kevin Harvick: "This is absolutely amazing. We run all week, we haul ass. They
drop the green and our car won't run."On lap 15 Denny Hamlin took the lead back from Tony Stewart. He held that until lap 18 when Jeff Gordon took the lead. On lap 20 Denny Hamil retook the lead. He kept the lead until lap 39 when Dave Blaney (an Ohio native) took the lead. That lead was very short lived though cause on lap 40 Jeff Gordon took the lead back. At lap 41 Kyle Busch takes the lead after a round of green flag pit stops. Then on lap 49 Denny Hamlin claims the lead again. He kept that till lap 55 when Kyle took his lead back. Lap 65 Denny Hamlin retakes the lead only to loose it again to Kyle Busch on lap 68. On lap 76 Reed Sorenson took the lead. This was during the time that everyone was making green falg pit stops so he lost it quickly. On lap 77 Reed pits and hands the lead to Kyle Busch again.
Lap 80 we get our first caution for debis. Everyone again pits except for Reed Sorenson so he took the lead back. During that caution Dale Jr. radioed his crew to let them know that his shifter ball fell off his shifter. He was needing a new ball or something to put on there cause it was sharp and hurting his hand.
On lap 86 Kurt Busch took the lead from Reed Sorenson. On lap 108 Matt Kenseth took the lead only to loose it to his teammate Greg Biffle on lap 109. Lap 110 Kyle took the lead back. On lap 121 Kyle made his green flag pit stop and gave up the lead to Greg Biffle again. That was short lived though cause on lap 122 Greg Biffle made his green flag pit stop. He gave the lead to Michael Waltrip, only to have him make his pit stop a lap later on lap 123. That gave the lead to Ryan Newman. Kurt Busch was also penalized for speeding on pit road and had to serve a drive through penalty.
By lap 124 green flag pit stops were through and Kyle Busch claims the lead. On lap 145 Kenny Wallace is forced to go to the garage cause he couldn't go the minumim speed on the track. He was one of the drivers that raced his way in on Thursday.
On Lap 150 we had another debris caution. On lap 152 pit road opens and everyone pits. Since Clint Bowyer crossed the finish line on pit road he was credited as the leader. On lap 153 the pit stops are through and Greg Biffle won the race off pit road. Just one lap later Jeff Gordon took his car to the garage. His right-front bracket was bent.
On lap 158 Kyle Busch took the lead yet again. Then on lap 161 the caution comes out for the third time. This time it was due to David Ragan hitting the wall hard which also collected his teammate Matt Kenseth. Both cars went to the garage!
On lap 162 Dale Jr. takes the lead as all the other leaders pit and he stays out. On lap 169 Matt Kenseth comes back out and Kasey Kahne takes the lead. On lap 170 Tony Stewart takes the lead only to loose it on lap later to Dale Jr. He then one lap later on lap 172 looses the lead again to Tony Stewart. Then Dale Jr. tries to take the lead back but Tony Stewart edges him out.
The caution came out again on lap 176 when Jimmie Johnson spun coming off of turn two after Sam Hornish Jr. tapped him. That wreck also collected Martin Truex Jr. as well. Again everyone pits except for Dale Jr. He reclaims the lead for one lap. On lap 181 Clint Bowyer took the lead from Dale Jr.
Then on lap 183 Clint Bowyer went spinning after being clipped by Juan Pablo Montoya. Clint just spun but didn't have any damage. That handed the lead to Ryan Newman. On lap 188 Jeff Burton took the lead from Ryan. On lap 189 Kevin Harvick tapped Dave Blaney and sent him into the wall.
Then on lap 197 Casey Mears tries to block Tony Stewart and Casey ends up in the wall. Lap 197 is when Tony Stewart took the lead and lead all the way till Ryan Newman passed him on the back stretch. Ryan's teammate Kurt Busch drafted with him and gave him that push to pass Tony Stewart.
This is the first time since 2001 that teammates finished first and second. Michael Waltrip and Dale Jr. did it back in 2001.
This was also the tenth anniversary of Dale Sr.'s only Daytona 500 victory. To honor him all the teams stood on pit wall and held up three fingers during the third lap.
That about does it for this 50th Daytona 500!
Take care!

Daytona Nationwide Race Recap

Ok here is my race recap. Hope it is good enough!
The winner ended up being Tony Stewart. It was a good race. There were a few race leaders. The different race leaders were as follows (laps lead): Kirk Shelmerdine (1), Denny Hamlin (1), David Ragan (2), Brian Vickers (2), Martin Truex Jr. (20), Tony Stewart (46), and Kyle Busch (47). Kyle Busch had led the most laps by one lap. Steve Grissom only lasted 3 laps before he had to retire his car. David Stremme was the next car to go. They think that it was engine or transmission problems. He did have trasmission problems yesterday during practice. Mark Green and David Gilliland were involved in a wreck together 53 laps into the race. Marcus Ambrose was able to make it 103 laps but after blowing two tires and loosing most of the back right side of his car. Stanton Barrett, Kasey Kahne, Steve Wallace and Jason Keller were involed in an accident when Brad Keslowski got loose on lap 109. Junior was all over the track. There were times when he was up front then he would fall back! He ended up being 3rd. I think that is a great finish. This was the second time that Junior had driven a JR Motorsports car!
Tomorrow is the 50th Daytona 500!

Daytona Engine News
Looks like all the Hendrick cars are going to be changing their engines! Junior was able to find something that was engine related. The other drivers have been complaining of the same problems as well. It is a lifter failure. The head engine builder said that they think that it is a bad batch of parts. There are 5 Hendrick engines that are being changed 5, 24, 48, 66 and 88. This means that they will all be in the back of thier Duel race now!
*The 07 also changed thier engine as well.

Weather update....
It started raining early this afternoon. It is supposed to change back to snow around 9pm tonight. We are still under a winter storm warning until 1am tonight. On a good note though the driveway is almost cleared off again! Hubby said that the roads this morning were terrible though!
Snow pictures!

It's snowing already,,,,
I just looked out the window and it has already started snowing. I just came home at 8:20 and it was n0t snowing at all. They are saying that we could have thunder and lightning with this storm as well. This is not going to be fun at all!!!!
***Update***
So they just said on the news that we have about 1/2 inch already and it isn't even part of the snow storm that is still yet to come! Yippee!
Duels starting line up!
Per NASCAR.com
These are the races that are qualifying races for the 50th annual Daytona 500! These will be ran on Thursday afternoon!
Take care!
Winter stinks!
Well we may just be in for our first major snow storm of the season. They are calling for 5-7 inches of snow for us tonight into tomorrow. Man I guess I picked the right week to take off of work. They are saying that rush hour in the morning will be nasty. This weekend we had high (40-50mph) winds and this morning we had wind chills factors below 0. They are saying that the temps are too cold even now to pretreat the roads. They have pretreated anyway but they aren't sure that it will help cause the temps are so low. They are telling hubby to be on stand by. He may have to take tomorrow off instead of his normal day off Weds. The main snow fall is suppossed to come later in the morning. Let's hope that they are wrong again. Although it would be cool to see that much snow here. Wait I would be the one to have to shovel. Forget that!!
Take care!

All is well in my NASCAR world!!
Last night Junior was able to prove that he still does have the talent and drive to make back to Victory lane! Thanks to his Hendrick teammate Jimmie Johnson who gave him the push that he needed Junior was able to cross the finish line ahead of Tony Stewart who was leading until the last lap. This was Junior's first race with his new Hendrick team. His #88 Amp Energy/National Gaurd Chevrolet.
I have followed Junior for as long as he's been racing. Last year was a hard year for him. I think that I can speak for all his true fans when I say, we missed that smile. Ya he smiled and was happy at times but his true smile was missing and has been missing for some time. That smile and confidence that has been missing is back.
I don't think that I ever relized how well the Hendrick teams work together. Last night I seen how well they work together though. When Junior broke away Jimmie, Jeff and Casey (when they were near each other) went with him. As well as Junior followed them when he was near them.
So what does this win mean to us Junior fans? Well to me it shows that the Junior we love to root for has his confidence in himself back. I don't think that it ever really left but I think it maybe got lost a little last year. Now no the Budweiser Shootout isn't a points race but it showed Junior, his new team, his new car owner and all his fans that the talent he has is still there. Of course I picked him to win last night but I truely thought that he really would win. Rick Hendrick hired him a great driver last year.
It was also great listening to Junior's in car radio to hear Rick Hendrick come on before the race started then again after the race ended. I know that is one of the things that Junior was looking for, a owner that was around at the track. It shows that Rick cares about his drivers. I'm not saying that the owners at DEI don't care but I think that being at the track and on the radio is a comforting feeling for those drivers.
Last night was the first of hopefully a lot more wins to come! He was interviewed this afternoon on the qualifying show and he said that he was most looking forward to going home for a few days and celebrating with his mom and his sister. Kelley was and instrumental part of him being with Hendrick and for him having the #88. Kelley is not only his sister but his business manager as well. She also works at JR Motorsports with him. He's close to his family so I'm not surprised that he wants to hurry home to see the joy that I know they will have on thier faces as well!
Take care!

Media Day Highlights
Here are some notes from Media Day in Daytona here per NASCAR.com.
Junior:
- He is the driver of the Amp Energy National Gaurd Chevrolet.
- They were showing his Victory Lane interview after he won the Daytona 500 for his intro, he laughed at himself. He said that was the first time that he had ever watched it. He was laughing at himself for worrying about the long string of confetti that was clinging to his neck.
- Winning the Daytona 500 was the best day of his life so far.
- He said that he looked forward to always coming to Daytona in July. He said that he never went to the Daytona 500 till he raced it. Even when he was in the Busch races he would fly home after the race on Saturday.
- He said that last year was frustrating for both him and his team. He said that the frustration is something that he and his team (from last year) are going to have to live with for quite a while.
- He said that he has less stress in some area's and more stress in others.
- He said that he knows that he has it made this year, he has a great car, team, owner, equiptment, sponsor's but he still feels the stress of having to prove himself.
- He wants to make his fans proud again.
- He says that he feels sorry for those drivers that have to keep getting asked how he will do this year. He said that he is friends with most of these drivers and hates that they should be in the spotlight yet they ask them about him.
- He said that he feels very lucky to have had everything come out the way it did for him this year. He feels lucky, fortunate to have wonderful people like Kelley looking out for him and very grateful.
- Ricky Rathman was doing the interviewing and he said that he has picked Junior to win the Daytona 500 this year. Junior just giggled.
- He said that he loves that he is involved in the candy buisness (Big Mo candy bars). He said that Palmer came to him wanting to get a mainstream candy bar. He said that the only other big sport candy bar is the Baby Ruth. He hopes that Big Mo can be that good. If so that will be the first mainstream candy bar for Palmer. He said so far it is exceding expectations. They are selling about 4 times better then he thought they would
Tony Stewart:
- Ricky was interviewing him as well. He said that he like Ricky interviewing. He said that he hates media day (what a shock). He said that they always ask him the same questions...."What do you want to accomplish this year?" He said his answer is "I want to run around in about 30th position, stay out of trouble and be consistant that would make me happy." He said he likes to see their faces. He said you ask him a stupid question you'll get a stupid answer.
- Someone from the chat room asked him when he was going to cut his hair. He said that his grandpa always had this saying "mind your own buisness" (then he laughed). He said that he was in Charolotte the last two days and tried to get his hair cut but he only trusts this one person cause he has too many calicks, but he finally found out yesterday that she was in Mexico on vacation. He said he plans on cutting it.
- He also said that he wants a tattoo.
J.J. Yeley:
- He got a tattoo two weeks ago. Right before the California testing. He has angel wings with Faith in between them (for his daughter). It is on his left arm. He said it didn't hurt. Ricky's friend did it for him. He doesn't plan on getting anymore though.
Kasey Kahne:
- He loves the free beer from Budweiser.
- He said that Budweiser sent over (to his house) a cool fridge for him to keep his Budweiser in. It keeps it 22 degrees which is just perfect for him.
- He is still doing Allstate commercials as well as some young guns, dodge and one Budweiser commercial
- He said that he likes working with the Allstate girls. He said that they are great to work with.
- He thinks that this year will be much better then last year. They made a lot of changes in the organization.
Elliott Sadler:
- He went to his forst Daytona 500 when he was 4 years old.
- He said that was his favorite Daytona 500 of all time.
- He said that the best Daytona memory is yet to come, when he wins it.
- He thinks that he is a boring person.
- He spent most of the off season at hom in Virginia with his family and friends. He was a couch potato most of the time. He did go hunting a few times but other then that he did nothing.
- He too thinks that this year will be a much better year for he and Kasey as well
Denny Hamlin:
- He can't wait to race the Toyota's. He thinks this is Toyota's year.
- He said that if the Gibbs cars go winless this year it will be a miracal.
- He also said that he thinks that all three Gibbs drivers will be in the chase this year.
- He loves that Joe Gibbs is back. He said he will be good for the teams.
- He said that he is still in awe that he is racing in the Daytona 500.
Carl Edwards:
- He said that he has a hard time knowing how is in the cars at the begining of the seasons.
- He doesn't feel like at testing that thier engines were up to par. Since they don't have the engines yet he likes that Daytona has bumps on the track. He hopes they never repave it.
- Jack doesn't like that he does the back flips but he won't make him stop either. He said that he only does backflips when he wins. He doesn't practise them.
- Back 40 Records is his record company. They are releasing Omaga (sp) this summer. That will be the first record for the company.
David Ragan:
- He was having fun doing the Media tour.
- He thinks that his team can win races this year. He even thinks that he could make the chase.
- His dad ran a few Daytona 500 years ago.
- His best Daytona 500 memory was when Dale Sr. won. He was at home watching that.
- He is glad that he's not a rookie this year.
Aric Almirola:
- He was at the media tour but he won't be in the car till Bristol.
- He says you can tell who in the media is a NASCAR fan and who's not. He was getting people asking him how it feels to be racing in the Daytona 500. He won't be in it Mark Martin will.
- He said when he was 11 he and his family visited DEI as fans. He said that you could only see certian parts of the shops and now he can walk all over. He is amazed that he is there!
Martin Truex Jr.:
- His sister got married on New Years Eve. He and Sherry went back home for that.
- Ricky asked him if he has been able to stay out of trouble this year at Daytona. (referring back to his trouble last year during testing). He laughed and said that he was able to stay out of trouble.
- Ricky asked if there was some place that he visited all the time and he said not really. He said that he was taknig Sherry out for Valentine's day but he's not telling where!! They laughed about that. He said that he wants to take her out without being mobed by the fans.
There were a few others that were there but they were sick so they didn't talk much. Casey Mears, Jeremy Mayfield and Kurt Busch were all sick. Hope that you enjoyed my post!

Quick note!
Ok so there is this story that broke last week about billboard signs around the Texas Motor Speedway. They have signs promoting the races this season. They have ones with Dale Jr., Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. So Kelley (Junior's sister and buisness manager) called the speedway president and asked that thier billboard get changed. Kelley and Junior are very respectful people. They still have friends and family that are at DEI and they respect the company that their dad built. This was the sign that was origonally put up.

Sorry but that is comical! The new sign is supposed to read Reason #88: New Car Smell! I can see why Kelley and Junior would want that down.
As for the NASCAR season it starts this week! Thursday is the drawing for the starting positions for the Budweiser Shootout. The Budweiser Shootout is Saturday night. Only 5 more days till the season starts. Man this has been a long off season.
Take care!!!

Tonight is much better then last night!!
Ok so we had very strong winds and some rain. We had bad down pours and some thunder and lightning. The only damage we have is the two pieces of siding that fell off earlier last night. It is now cold again. Darn weather.
This week at work has been very busy! I'm not even sure why. Well ya I am the people who are suposed to help me are always too busy yet they are never doing anything. I asked them to help me out and they say that they don't have time. Whatever!!!!
Other then that not much else is new with me.
This week NASCAR was testing in Las Vegas Monday and Tuesday. Then on Thursday and Friday they are testing in California. Only 11 more days till the Bud Shootout! I'm so excited to see how Junior does with his new team!
Well I'm going to go back to watching my Ghost Hunters!
Take care!!!

I hate mother nature......
Ok so this is January and we have TORNADOS coming our way. Our power keeps flickering. I'm trying to get this in before we loose it all together. We have already lost some siding off of our house. I just got out of the shower (still in my towel) picking up pieces of our siding. I hate storms. This is not going to be a good night. Looks like I will miss Idol tonight as well. Someone will have to give me a recap. Well I'm jumping off here. Let's hope that nothing else happens and that the power stays on. Talk to ya tomorrow!

This is me, like me or not!
So right now I should be at my Aunt's 50th surprise birthday party. Thanks to my father though I can't be there. Here is some insight on me.
Years ago my parents got divorced. My mother walked out and we haven't talked since. It has been almost seven years now since we were mother/daughter. My father always told me that he would always be there for me. He would never abandoned me like my ex-mother did. She has hurt me so much. She has a lot of apologizing to do. Well my husband and father are not speaking now. Not sure what the whole story is there. My father sent me this nasty email last Thursday. He said that my husband is no longer welcome around the family. He also said that my husband is no longer a part of the family. He is making my life hell. He claims that my husband has been talking about him and what not. Pete has never said anything about him in a long time. Pete tried to make things right at Christmas for me cause he knew that is what I wanted. My father ignored him. My theory is if my husband isn't welcome then neither am I. Yes it is killing me!! I have cried ever since. I'm a family person. I have just been thinking of all that I will miss. My grandma said that she didn't know about this email. She kept telling me that we were both invited but my father is making a decision for the family anyway. I know that he would feel the same way if I said that his wife wasn't welcome around me either. I always get put in the middle. I tried to still keep ties by leaving my husband at home while I went to do things with him but after his email that was my last straw. I shouldn't have to have a life without my husband. I married him and that's that. We have been married for almost eight years now.
I'm thankful to all my friends who have been my shoulder to cry on over all of this. I just hope that I'm doing the right thing. Right now my heart is broken knowing that I can't be there for my aunt. Not even sure I will be able to see them while they are here. Thanks for letting me get my feelings out!
Take care!!

Hello out there!!!
Ok so for some reason I'm in a good mood right now. Maybe it's cause I'm off tomorrow I don't know! I do have a dentist appointment first thing tomorrow morning but other then that I really don't have anything special planned. I need to clean up the spare bedroom cause right now it is a mess!
Tomorrow we are supposed to get a dusting of snow of course during morning rush hour. That is right about the same time that I have to go to the dentist. Yippee! I'm ready for some warmer weather. Right now I'm sitting in the living room freezing. I can't even use a blanket cause there is so much static electricity. That's what I hate about winter.
In a few minutes American Idol is on again. This is the time where you just sit back and laugh most of the time! I think it has been good so far. I heard a few that I think have potential to be good and some that I think the judges are just feeling pity for. I love the ones that really do suck and they are so surprised that they didn't make it lol!
I want to also say how sad I was to hear about Heath Ledger. That was so sad. He was a good actor. RIP Heath.
Well I'm going to finish watching my Ghost Hunters then switch to American Idol and then back to Ghost Hunters. I love that show. The international ones are good but I miss the regular Ghost Hunters.
I hope that this week is going good for all of you!
Take care!!

I just have to say.......
That I love my friends!!! I was down and almost out last night. I called Andi (who is my saving grace) and told her all about it. Basically cried on her shoulder (over the phone). That is when she and our friend Trudy told me that they were going out for a girls night. They were going to see the movie 27 Dresses. I at first didn't feel like going out but they wouldn't take no for an answer (thanks Andi and Trudy). I decided to go and had fun. Andi and Bobby are the best friends ever. You know what you did and for everything I am more then greatful! I am in a little better spirits now thanks to my awsome friends!
Andi, Trudy and I have decided that we are going to try to make it a once a month thing to go to the movies. We actually got a deal last night. They messed up the movie.....the first five minutes were without sound. So as we were all walking out they gave us vouchers to come back to see any movie for free. That is what is treating us next month!!!
Well I'm going to run! Talk at you later!!! Thanks again not only to the friends mentioned but all my friends in general! I love you all!!
Take Care!!!!

Update.....
Just got a call from Pete. His grandma has a head cold. Weird! She had to have a spinal tap and ct scan and all that came back fine. Her eyes are swollen due to the cold but Pete said that the swelling had gone down a lot since she was there. They were going to go to dinner now!
Take care!
I need some prayers again.....
I got a call earlier this afternoon from my husband, they were taking his grandma back to the ER. She has brain surgery last November. She was having a bad headache and she could see. That is not a good thing. My husband hasn't called me since. I hope that means that she is alright. I have a feeling that after work I will be going to the hospital. I'll keep you updated!
Take Care!

A year ago today,,,,,,
The Nascar world lost a legend, Benny Parsons. Ol BP was loved through out the garage and had a long racing career that ended with him being in the broadcast booth. So this post is for BP.
RIP Benny Parsons!

Update to my last post.....
Patrick was on American Idol! He was on the "I Love Rock and Roll" montage. He was the one that was wearing the black "Dear Lord" shirt. He sang the "must have been 17" part. He was also the first one to come out saying "it's a no". Just thought that I would update everyone!
Happy Tuesday......
So today I have been super busy at work! Actually yesterday and today. The other center that is supposed to help me won't so I have to do it all. Although today I made our Currier and Docucare guy feel bad so they were helping me out. I had to rubber band two jobs and paper clip a job. Oh ya and a customer that caught me ranting about her job. She was cool about it though. I still have a job running that I'm rubber banding.
I did get told today though (after a lot of bugging) that I get next Thursday off. Ya! Although I took it off for a dentist appt. Then I want to get some cleaning done at home. I have to get my spare room cleaned and my computer room organized.
So this week is week two of NASCAR Daytona testing. Junior and his new #88 Amp/National Guard team are proving that they are good! Yesterday he was second fastest in both morning and afternoon sessions and so far today he was first fastest in single car runs. This afternoon they are drafting. Another thing that is surprising me is that the Toyota's are pretty fast as well. Last year they were not so good. Hopefully they will be better. The Gibbs teams switching to Toyota I think will help them a lot!
I was listing to my country morning show this morning and they had Taylor Swift on. She and the one DJ made a bet during CMA week. The DJ told her that she would win the Horizon award. She kept saying she wouldn't. So they bet $10 that she would. Well she did. She sent him a Christmas card with $10 in it. They were talking about her birthday and the Bubblegum Pink truck that her record company gave her. She is donating that to the Victory Junction Gang camp. I think that is so special.
Tonight is American Idol's premiere. The other radio station I listen to is sending their idiot boy to the Idol tryouts. He may be on there. His name is Patrick. He is a big (fat) dork that has a voice that makes me cringe. He also wears a fanny pack all the time. As dorky as he is I'm sure he'll be on there. We'll see!
Well it's about time to leave work so I will quit writing now!
Take Care!!

Sorry I need to vent....
Ok what part of DO NOT SPEND MONEY do men not understand?? I tell my husband that we have no money to spend on the car insurance or groceries but yet he gets something of line for $24.95. I can't spend even $5.00 on myself cause we don't have it. He is bugging me about getting our house refinanced (cause his whole family thinks that is the miracle solution, even though our credit sucks so bad). He just needs to STOP spending it. With my hours I can't get a second job but he's home all afternoon and could work one but yet does he, no. He thinks that a refinance will be what gets us out of trouble. Ya insurance is due tomorrow and he gets paid Thursday. Oh ya and I got a notice that our gas bill is behind and about to get turned off too. I tried selling the Avon but sales have been slow lately. I wish I could find something that I could do from home and make money. I wish I knew what I did to deserve this. I wouldn't do it again that's for sure!! Sorry again but I had to vent!
Take care!

A little update....
Well today was an ok day. My husband decided that today was the day to go get our new cell phones. Mine was due for a new one for free then his was discounted. So instead of paying bills and going grocery shopping we got new cell phones. Doesn't make sense to me but who knows. I do like mine though. I got a cool Razr phone. It is pink. Way cool! He got the same but his is silver. I thought that he should have gotten a pink one too but he said no. I don't know why LOL :-).
Then Pete's cousin Ray came over. He was here most of the afternoon. We went and got some Little Ceaser's Pizza and watched the Packer's game! It was a blowout and the Packer's won. Although it was a comical game to watch since it was snowing like crazy. At times you couldn't even see the lines on the field. It's nice to see Pete and Ray getting closer. They were never really close until recently when Ray's dad past away. Normally his girlfriend Heidi and her two kids come but they had something else to do so it was just Ray. The three of us seem to have a common thread. He and his mom don't talk either. She moved his dad to a nursing home so that her boyfriend could move in *shakes head*.
Well now I'm going to end this! I'm getting tired. I'll be heading to bed soon!
Take care!!

Hello all.........
It's me with an update. Not much to report though. I did find out yesterday that the Sr. Pastor that worked with my husband and I when we were married past away Tuesday. He was only 56 years old. Not sure what happend exactly but he was in the hospital. I have to work when the everyone is going to the veiwing today so that is a bummer.
As far as NASCAR goes.....First Daytona test session is in the books. Junior was there the first day to observe. He gets to test next week. In my opinion he looks eager to get behind the wheel and see what he can do in Hendrick equipment. I can't wait to see that next week! All of his teammates were there this week. That is his only down fall.
As for anything else that is about it!
Take care!

WOOHOO!
Yep it is a great day! LSU won last night! I finally got tv back. No more Buckeye crap till next season. They really need to learn how to win a bowl game! That made LSU the only 2 time BCS winners. Sorry to those Buckeye fans that are my buddies. I still love ya:-)

Ok call me crazy....Not really people!!
Ok so last night I actually had troubles falling asleep! I had great news! Last night Tara and Penni both let me know that they have their plane tickets to come here to go to Michigan with Andi and I in August! Ok so it was real when I ordered the NASCAR race tickets for them but now it seems really real since I know that they have the plane tickets. I actually know when to pick them up and everything! I know that they are just as excited as I am. Man I so can't wait till August!!!
Other then that I've already told ya what I did this weekend so now I'll get back to work!!! I know that Andi is going to kill me for this but I'm sorry I want the news back so GO LSU!!! See I know that if LSU wins then they will have this Buckeye crap off the news. As it is now I watch the news and here more about what is going on in Louisiana instead of what happened here in Columbus!

It's me again....
Not much new here! I have been leading a boring life! I went out shopping today for a little bit with Andi. I was able to get a new pair of pants for work/church. I really need new new work cloths badly. Unfortantly money isn't there to get them. Although I really do like these pants! I wish they were cheaper I would definatly get more then. Andi was so sweet to me too she bought me a Dale Jr. "Ride To Remember" calendar and a Dale Jr. heart shaped candy filled tin. The tin has pictures of him and Killer (his oldest boxer puppy). The calendar has highlights from his eight year career in the #8 Budweiser car. Well that is all for now!

The first of the year......
Ok so I have felt like I have been working all day. I was told that if I took the Christmas decorations down that Pete would help me. So I did that except I didn't get much help. Onaly about five minutes of help. Typical I guess huh!
Last night we went to my friend Tricia's house and spent New Years Eve with her, Matt (her hubby) and their one month old son (my nephew) Hunter. Hunter slept the New Year in. He had a rough year lol! We ate dinner, watched a movie and played Apple to Apples. It was a fun evening! I think that we all had fun!
Well I have to go take care of the dishwasher and stir my chicken and dumplings that are in the crock pot! Hope that everyone had a fun and safe New Year's Eve!
